    PROGRAM:
    Tom Krause concentrates on the voice and Eija Tolpo´s teaching focuses on expression and character building: "How do you take the empty space, how do you fill the empty stage?" How a singer learns to find his or her inner ideas and the truth when building a character.

    The Opera Concert will be on the 10th of July. It is organized in collaboration with the Savonlinna Opera Festival.

    Tom Krause opettaa äänenmuodostusta ja Eija Tolpo ilmaisua: "How do you take the empty space, how do you fill the empty stage?" eli miten laulaja oppii roolia työstäessään menemään pintaa syvemmälle ja löytämään omat ideansa.

    Kurssin osallistujilla on mahdollisuus työstää haluamiaan oopperakohtauksia.

    Viimeisenä päivänä eli perjantaina 10.7. on loppukonsertti. Se järjestetään yhteistyössä Savonlinnan Oopperajuhlien kanssa.

    ACCOMMODATION, MEALS:The course fee does not include any meals or accommodation. You can make a reservation for a room by the Savonlinna Music Academy. The accommodation is situated cirka 3-4 km from the course place. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the music school. You will have a room of your own and a shared kitchen and bathroom with one or two other students. There will be bed sheets and towels for you in the room. Arriving one day before the start of the course and leaving one day after the course is recommended. Accommodation price: Approximately 20 €/day You can also try to find yourself another place to stay by sending an e-mail to: Turn on JavaScript! / Savonlinna Travel MAJOITUS, RUOKAILU: Kurssimaksu ei sisällä majoitusta tai ruokailuja. Opiskelijoilla on mahdollisuus varata huone Musiikkiakatemian kautta. Majoitus on n. 3-4 km päässä kurssipaikasta (n. 30 minuutin kävelymatka). Majoitus on tarjolla mm. 1 hh solusta, jossa yhteisinä tiloina keittiö ja kylpyhuone. Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet kuuluvat huoneen hintaan. Suosittelemme saapumista päivää ennen kurssin alkua.     CANCELLATIONS: Applications are binding, and cancellations are possible only till 4 weeks before the beginning of the course. PERUUTUSEHDOT: Hakemukset ovat sitovia. Myöhemmin kuin 4 viikkoa ennen kurssin alkua ilman pätevää syytä (esim. lääkärintodistus) tehdystä peruutuksesta veloitetaan kurssimaksu kokonaisuudessaan.

    THE CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: 16.4.2010. Students are chosen via audition tapes. Curriculum Vitae, audition recording and possible recommendations should be enclosed. Write down the information of these to the application and send the material by post to Savonlinna Music Academy, Puistokatu 5, FI-57100 Savonlinna, Finland. Answers of approval will be sent during May. HAKUAIKA PÄÄTTYY: 16.4.2010. Hakemukseen liitettävä CV, äänitetty näyte ohjelmistosta ja mahdollisten suosittelijoiden kirje.
